YOUTH FORUM WITH CIWA ON FEBRUARY 13TH We are pleased to announce that FANS will be part of the Youth Forum with CIWA for the second year! Join us on Thursday, February 13th from 10am to 2pm at Marlborough Community Association, 636 Marlborough way NE, T2A 2V9.

CELEBRATE CALGARY DIVERSITY ON MARCH 28TH On behalf of Centre for Newcomers, we would like to invite you to their 5th annual fundraiser event on Saturday, March 28th at the Habebe’s Banquet Hall. Let’s celebrate together Calgary’s culture and diversity featuring Bhangra Bollywood dancing, Middle Eastern Performances, African folk dancing, a Filipino Tinkling dance and more! There will also be a silent auction with great deals around the city, a fun photobooth, raffle draws, and great food and drinks throughout the night.

We are excited for our Third Annual Holiday Equipment Drive this year! This year, we have expanded from sports balls to all kinds of sports equipment, gift cards from sports equipment stores, and tickets to sporting events!
Partners and friends of FANS, if you have any new or used equipment that you’d like for our other newcomers to learn and enjoy, as well as gift card or cash donations of any amount to help us provide holiday gifts to our members, please let us know! We’re happy to pick them up at your location.

Gift bags will be ready for pickup on December 11th to December 23rd. We are excited to announce that we have available spots in upcoming Soccer and Volleyball Programs. As always, thanks to our very generous donors, there is no cost to you to join the programs. Please respond as soon as possible to let us know if you are interested in any of the following:
Calgary Rangers Soccer: The program will run from the end of April to the end of June. Ages: 6 years old to 18 years old may attend.
Volleydome: Beginner summer camp for high school and Junior high.
Rally Pointe (volleyball): August summer camp.

Playing a sport other than soccer? No problem, just send us a photo of you playing nay sport to post on our website, and our partner Jelly Modern Doughnuts will provide you the doughnuts to share with your team, family or friends.
We are also excited for our April and May equipment drive. Newcomers, please send us an email about what sports equipment you are in need of, and we will add you to our list. Please also let us know what sports you would like to learn this summer and we will do our best to find you a spot.
