As an immigrant myself, I can truly appreciate the hardships any newcomer has to go through when arriving in Canada. When these hardships are met with people willing to assist, there is this magical connection that makes everything better. That is what members from FANS were able to provide to families attending Coded Mind’s summer camps – magic. I personally saw a few of the FANS kids during the camps and I could notice that they were having fun and enjoying themselves while being immersed in the Canadian culture. All parents I interacted with were extremely happy that their children were having a great time in these turbulent times that COVID and a change of countries were bringing to them.
