Padel is a racquet sport that combines the elements of tennis, squash and badminton.
If you are 8 years of age or older please join us in playing this fun game. We’ll meet at 3524 – 45^th Street SW on SATURDAY JUNE 23, 8:30 AM. Our partners from Jelly Modern Doughnuts are donating some delicious doughnuts for this event.
Our FANS team is looking forward to meeting you in person.  Let us know as soon as possible if you can join in the fun as spaces are limited.  Parents are welcome to join the fun of learning and playing the game.

Hello Newcomers,

Thank you for joining FANS Foundation. We wanted to share the news of the exciting opportunities for the month of June.

It is Soccer Season and our partner Jelly Modern Doughnuts is supporting Newcomers on Soccer Teams.    Just send us a photo for our website and social media of you in your soccer gear or a photo with your team along with the date of the game and Jelly Modern Doughnuts will provide doughnuts for your team for the first 20 Newcomers that respond.   Please email us at friends@fansfoundation.com.

Thank you to our generous partners at the Calgary Padel Club, for hosting a morning of instruction and games for Newcomers to learn to play the racquet game of Padel.  If you are 8 years of age and older please join us in playing the fun game of Padel. We are sending Newcomers to Summer Camps.  Thank you to our generous partner Bolder Climbing, Volleydome, Calgary Rangers Soccer Club, Footprints Dance, Rally Pointe and The Tennis Academy for the donation of spots in Summer Camp.  Watch your email for more exciting camp announcements.

Get ready for Summer Sports reading.   We have packages of three sports magazines available for pick up.  Pop by Jelly Modern Doughnuts at 1414 8^th Street SW and tell them that you would like the FANS magazines. They will give you the pack of three sports magazines and two doughnuts to enjoy while you are reading.

Share your photos and Win!!!   We encourage all Newcomers to join a new sport or keep working on one that you love. Please send us your Newcomer story and photos of you playing a sport to post on our website and social media. We will be randomly selecting photos of our Newcomers to win prizes from our wonderful partners.

Donation Boxes are out at all Jelly Modern Doughnut Locations.  Please encourage your friends to make a donation at the store or on our FANS website.  We are using the donations to send Newcomers to Sports Camps.

Badminton anyone?  Our instruction sport of the month is Badminton.   Let us know if you want to join in a game of Badminton to be arranged with one of us at a mutually convenient time.
